Guilford's Faulkner Island: for serious kayaking

Faulkner's Island is part of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge. The island is located 3.5 miles seaward from SeaScape Villa. The area offers a great opportunity to test your sea kayaking skills. The lighthouse was built in 1802. It's Connecticut's second oldest lighthouse tower and the only active light station on an island.
