Beluga whales at Mystic Aquarium

Mystic's Aquarium & Institute for Exploration is a great family destination. But more than visiting just another aquarium, it's rather a virtual undersea adventure. In addition to the more than 3,500 specimens of marine life from around the world, there is the Dr. Ballard exploration exhibit which will take you along on an expedition to the deep. Since its major renovation in 1998, Mystic Aquarium has become the most modern, most complete facility of its kind in the Northeast.
