Thimble Islands archipelago

You can take a spectacular kayak trip from SeaScape Villa to this amazing cluster of over 30 little islands. There are stories and legends abound about this enchanting place. The islands have been described as "a piece of Maine that floated in the Long Island Sound and came to rest in front of the Connecticut coast", and as "one of the prime locations where Captain Kidd’s treasure is buried", although it doesn’t seem likely anyone could bury much of anything here given the impressive rocky nature of the “islands”.
